Product Overview

Ultrafiltration and nanofiltration membrane separation technologies belong to cross flow separation filtration. In this filtration process, the flow direction of the feed solution and concentrated solution is parallel to the filter membrane, making it difficult for particles to deposit on the surface of the filter membrane and the filter pores to be blocked. Therefore, the filter membrane can be used repeatedly for a long time. The roll type membrane separation device is the main type of cross flow separation and filtration equipment.


Equipment features

HW type, SMH type and HPL type membrane separation produced by Millipore (China) Co., Ltd. according to our technical requirements have the following characteristics:

1 The product specifications are complete, the separation capacity is as small as 200 cutting molecular weight nanofiltration level separation, up to 200,000 cutting molecular weight ultrafiltration separation level, a variety of filter membrane materials, to choose from. The size of the equipment is as small as 0.6m2 membrane experimental equipment, and as large as several hundred square meters membrane area complete sets of equipment for industrial scale production.

  2 Membrane element:  

 The membrane element is the key component of the membrane separation device. The fluid enters the material flow layer and flows in parallel direction along the membrane surface. The filter liquid through the filter membrane enters the central filter liquid pipe in the diversion layer in the specified direction and then flows out of the component. The liquid is concentrated and flows out from the other end of the membrane element. In actual operation, this separation process is repeated and cycled until the predetermined process requirements are reached. 

 3 組件: 

 The membrane element is loaded into a container made of stainless steel, the sealing ring between the membrane elements in the container field is placed, and the necessary connection pipe fittings are configured externally to form an independent membrane separation part, which is the basic unit of the membrane separation device. 

 4 devices:

The membrane separation device is composed of components, pipelines, racks, booster pumps, containers, control boxes and protective filters.  

Components are basic components, and the specifications and scale of the entire device are determined by the size and quantity of the components. The components are arranged vertically or horizontally on the rack.  

The pipeline includes valves, pipes, connectors, tees, elbows and other pipe fittings to connect the components into one body. The diameter of the pipeline is determined by calculation. The pipelines of some devices are arranged into a positive and reverse direction flow system, which is conducive to flushing out the retention inside the membrane element, maintaining the smooth flow channel, and extending the service life. Pipeline materials are stainless steel and engineering plastics.  

The components and piping are fixed to the rack, making it a complete device.  

The booster pump is the power component of the membrane separation device, and the power consumption of the pump is changed to the separation effect of the liquid component, so the selection of the pump specifications is very important and must match the equipment specifications. Pump head generally must reach 50 meters, flow depends on the equipment film area. The type of pump must be determined according to the characteristics of the treatment fluid.  

The container is used to store the processed material liquid or cleaning liquid, which is generally equipped by the user, and its capacity and number should be determined according to the process requirements. For large membrane separation units, separate cleaning containers and connecting pipelines should be provided. The container should also be equipped with a cooling system.  

The control box contains power switch, pressure gauge, temperature meter and other components. It is an essential component when running an operation. The flow meter is mounted on the rack and is also a necessary element.  

Protection filter: to can long-term safe operation of the protective film components, the booster pump tube close to add a protection filter of produced liquid, small particles of impurities. It is also very necessary. The filter contains more than 150 mesh screens. The protector is an optional device.
